Don’t let his pretty face fool you – Renshi Patrick Buckley has over 30 years in combative sport, and he brings a lot to the table. You want traditional qualifications? He holds a sixth degree black belt in Jiu-Jitsu, a first degree black belt in Karate and is a member in good standing of the World Kobudo Federation. You want MMA credibility? He has a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, is a member of Nova Uniao, has trained amateur fighters and cornered fights in Las Vegas. He is also a certified MMA Judge and MMA Referee, through Big John McCarthy’s COMMAND school. All that is on top of a Degree in Psychology from Queen’s University, and nearly 20 years training under Sensei Tom Sharkey: former ETF police officer, Airborne Ranger and all around dangerous guy. Scott Lewis is the chief technical director of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Buckley Jiu-Jitsu. He is a Third Degree Black Belt under the instruction of BJJ champion and former WEC & IFL Featherweight Champion, Wagnney Fabiano. Professor Scott Lewis has trained with some of the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners in the World; including Leo Santos, Vitor “Shaolin” Riberio, UFC Fighter Mark Bocek, Renato “Charuto” Verissimo, André “Dedé” Pederneiras, Wendell Alexander, UFC Fighter Claude Patrick, and BJJ champion Rubens “Cobrinha” Charles. In addition to training with a great number of BJJ professionals, Scott has found great success in BJJ competitions throughout North America.

Andre started Martial Arts in 1994, under Sensei Nick Petroff and attained a black belt on Nov 28th, 2004. He completed as a Junior Black Belt in 2004 at the World Jiu Jitsu Championships and came in 3rd in the individuals. At the same time, Andre trained in Judo under Sensei Albert Philippe and attained the rank of Blue Belt. He competed in Continous Kick Boxing with CASK and WPKA Canada from 2002 - 2007, and eventually fought as a full contact fighter.
